Stepping Inside The Colonial

May 28, 2010

This glittering chandelier is in the lobby of the historic Colonial Theater, which dates back to 1903. Back then, it featured live shows – vaudeville acts, musicals, and performers such as Houdini! It’s famous to this day for its part in The Blob. (And Phoenixville has a Blob Fest every year. :)

Besides being a beautiful piece of the past, The Colonial Theater is a buzzing part of the present with an ever-changing schedule of indie, classic, and horror films, plus live music and other great events.
